We are excited to host summer camp again this year and offer students the opportunity to explore vertical dance in the redwood trees. We have extended the hours from 10am to 3pm to give students more time exploring this unique and exciting dance space. Students will learn about climbing equipment, safety, jumping and flipping in the air, movement on and off the ground, and creating their own dances in the redwoods. Treat your child to a week of vertical dance camp with Mendocino Dance Project this summer and watch them soar!
Our camp is located just 5 minutes from Mendocino Village. Exact location and directions are provided with enrollment. Campers should come with a packed lunch each day, a water bottle, plenty of layers that cover the legs and torso, bug spray, a yoga mat or towel, ballet slippers or thick socks for dancing in the trees, and good walking shoes for walking around the forest. We will have a showing on Friday at 2pm for family and friends so that students can share what they have learned and created over the course of the week.
